Celebrate Juneteenth Celebrate Juneteenth by learning about an important figure in African-American history! Olaudah Equiano was the first formerly enslaved man to publish his memoirs. We will have a costumed reenactor of Equiano give a talk about his life and his importance in this country's anti-slavery movement. Registration is required. A monthly cookbook discussion and recipe sharing group. If you like to talk cookbooks, share recipes and sample new dishes, this group is for you. Each month we pick a food topic, share recipes and sample each others dish. The group meets at Charlestown Library the first Thursday of each month.
Charlestown Library Participants can bring a dip to share with the group. Be sure to bring a copy of the recipe.
