Summer Reading Club is for all ages -- Read and listen to library books to earn prizes this summer. Checkout books at the library or download books from Libby or Hoopla.
All reading needs to be logged and

The 2023 Cultural Pass is your passport to creativity! Cultural Pass offers young people ages 0-21 and their families in the Greater Louisville area access to participate in arts and cultural activities provided by over 50 venues, free of charge, from June 1 - August 6, 2023. The Cultural Pass is designed to inspire, explore, and discover new experiences in our Greater Louisville community! The programming made accessible through Cultural Pass promotes creativity, inspiration, educational opportunities, and lifelong learning about where we come from (our heritage), who we are (our culture), and how we express both of those things (art). We acknowledge that some of the experiences available through Cultural Pass address difficult topics. In determining if your family would like to engage with a particular Cultural Pass experience, we encourage you to reach out to the venue directly to learn more about their content and programming. |
Adult Summer Reading Club Simply sign up and keep track of the number of books you read between June 1 and August 1.You may read any adult material you want, as long as it comes from the library! Adults aged 18+ who sign up are eligible to earn some great prizes!
Adult Grand Prizes:
Teen Summer Reading Club Teens in 6-12 grades can earn 2 prizes for reading this summer.
200 minutes of reading - silly pen Teens can be entered into a drawing for a $10 gift certificate.Two gift certificated will be awarded at each of our 5 branches. An entry ticket can be earned by reading another 100 minutes of reading. Each teen can earn up to 5 entry tickets. Children's Summer Reading Club Kids in pre-school to grade 5 can earn 5 prized for reading this summer. A prize is earned after 100 minutes of reading.
100 minutes of reading - sidewalk chalk There is an additional prize that can be earned by reading another 500 minutes of reading. Baby's Summer Reading Club Babies aged 0-23 months can earn a free picture book when they have 30 picture books read to them between June 1 and August 1. The picture book titles that are read will be logged on a paper from the library or logged in the Beanstack app. |
