tumble book libraryKids can listen and read-a-long in to animated children's picture books. Other items available include story books, graphic novels, non fiction, math stories, language learning, National Geographic videos, and games.

This free service is available through a computer and some electronic devices with a valid library card.

libbyFind fiction and non-fiction eBooks, eAudio, over 3600 magazine titles, and Manga & comic books which can be viewed on computers, tablets, and phones. Checkout is limited to 10 items at a time.

indiana digital libraryThe Indiana State Library has formed a statewide e-book consortium called Indiana Digital Library. Over 200 public libraries in the state share their e-book, e-audio and magazines on the Libby by OverDrive platform. Patrons of consortium member libraries have the ability to borrow materials from both their own library's collections and the member library collections.

Installing Libby by Overdrive app on a Kindle

Libby app is not available in the Amazon app store on Kindle devices. Soon the Overdrive app will be phased out and you will need to download the Libby app. Follow these instructions on how to install the Libby app on a Kindle.

1. Go to Settings > Security > Enable Apps from Unknown Sources (there will be a warning message which is normal)
2. Open the web browser on the Kindle. Go to the website: apps.goodereader.com/category/android-apps/    On this page, search “Libby”. A new page will open. Click the “download” button.
3. When the download is complete, click “open” and “install”.
4. The Libby app should be ready to use. Open the Libby app and login your account.
5. Go back to step 1 and disable the setting “enable apps from unknown sources”.
The Online Books Page

The Online Books Page searches the leading electronic text databases, including Project Gutenberg, English Server, and Bartleby.com. All of these databases offer access to thousands of works for free to download and copy.

EBSCO ebooks and audiobooks

Free access to thousands of ebooks from INSPIRE for Indiana residents. The ebooks covering a wide range of topics such as self-help, fitness, games, hobbies, cooking, college career development, health, business and economics. It also includes a large selection of chapter book for kids and teens.

To get to the audiobook, go to the ebook collection and click on "Choose Databases" and select the audiobook collection.
